چکیده

In input intensive agriculture, weeds are major biotic constraints which likely to increase and become more complex. Overreliance on single weed management practice may further exaggerate severity also invite adverse effect, therefore, urgent technological intervention adopted eco-friendly integrated improve control sustaining the productivity in transplanted rice. The aim of study was compare two popular rice varieties (‘Swarna’ ‘Mahamaya’) with row spacing (15 20 cm) along three regimes [weedy, bispyribac sodium 25 g ha-1 hand weeding at 40 days after transplanting (DAT)] suppression productivity. Our findings suggest that Swarna 15 cm enhance provides higher can be as options minimize yield loss due competition region. study, than factors have been attempted provide additional information researcher, policy makers growers choose disseminate real integration options.

Eleven years of integrated weed management: longterm impacts of row spacing and harvest weed seed destruction on Lolium rigidum control

Long-term research aimed to determine whether narrow row spacing and harvest weed seed destruction, in combination with herbicide use, would be sufficient to drive a Lolium rigidum population to extinction. A trial was run from 1987 to 2013, with treatments including crop row spacings of 9, 18, 27 or 36 cm and crop residue burning or retention. Herbicides were applied to reflect regional practi...
